Participant Onboarding Process

1. Referral Submission

Our admin team receives a referral from you, your
representative or your support coordinator

2. Capacity Check

We review our clinicians capacity and wait times

3. Allocation to a Clinician

We allocate you to one of our clinicians based on the following criteria

  • Location
  • Skill set
  • Cultural fit

Assigned clinician details are sent to yourself and your referrer

4. Service Agreement is sent for signing via Lawpath which includes:

  • Transparent fees and charges
  • Funding allocation details as per the referral
  • Terms stating non-binding nature but obligation to pay for services rendered
  • Participant Action: Read, sign, and return the agreement
  • Support Available: Contact via phone or email for any questions or concerns relating to Belong Healthcare service agreement

5. Initial Appointment Scheduling

  • Admin team reaches out to the participant or their representative to schedule the initial appointment
    • SMS sent prior to phone call to let you or your representative know we plan to call to schedule your appointment
    • Admin team calls to confirm appointment details
    • Admin conducts a safety screen to ensure safety for both participant and clinician
    • Admin team attempt to cluster appointments to minimise travel costs

6. Initial Appointment

  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Location Options:
    • Participant’s home (default)
    • Belong Healthcare’s offices (upon request)

Additional Information

  • Ethical Billing Practices: All invoices are vetted to maintain high ethical standards.
  • Choice and Control: Participants have the right to discontinue services if unhappy, with the understanding that invoices for services already provided must be paid.
  • Participant Support: Emphasis on cultural safety and participant comfort throughout the process.
